BMW are taking a different approach to promoting the new Mini Clubman with the help of an old converted shipping container!

Mini have awarded Vista Creative Communications with the task of promoting the new Mini Clubman in a series of roadshows at retail centres around the country. The Mini Clubman roadshow will engage potential new customers and drive footfall to local Mini dealerships.

The car will be showcased in the converted shipping container in shopping centres and high streets up and down the country. Vista has designed and built two activations with hydraulic sides opening up into experiential product stands. One for indoor use and the second for outdoor public spaces. Both designs offer customers 360-degree views around the car, inviting potential customers to get inside for a photograph. They will be free-standing with seating for customers and technicians to manage the data capture at each event.

Vista created an indoor and outdoor version of the stand. Visitors to both activation’s will be treated to 360° degree views of the car. They will also be encouraged to get into the car for photographs. All in the aim of driving sales of this ever popular car. Large interactive LED’s surround the stands projecting environments with various configurations of the car. These will tell the story of the Mini and take you on a journey, all very slick and exciting stuff.

James Wilkins, managing director of Vista, said:

Delivering the retail roadshow for Mini is a privilege. It challenged the team to create something unique for the brand and we’re looking forward to seeing the results.
